Eight days to go

Good morning world. How are you all? Fine? Super. I'm ok thanks for asking.

Just filling in a bit of time before work. I resigned and now theres only two more shifts- today and tomorrow. Heehee I can't believe it I'm nearly leaving Cramlington. I shall be glad to see the back of work because I haven't had a whole week off since last summer when I holidayed in the Highlands. They are a nice bunch but the job is the definition of soulless and I always end up yawning.
It was my birthday yesterday not that much happened. I got sick of holding parties ages ago because they usually got awkward and someone would get upset/far too drunk so this year all I did was visit the Snowy Owl with the family, which is far simpler. Lucky for me, Darren invited me to his party which is tomorrow so I could indulge in some drunken revelry then. Or on sunday at the pub. Not many pressies but to be honest 19 is nothing special and I'm getting older so i wasnt expecting anything. OWA gave me some maltesers (thanks buddy![thats if you still read these you cretin])
Oooo yeah and I get to see Coldplay in December because Kris got to book them early, so there's something to look forward to at Christmas. I love gigs although I dont tend to go to many- there is a rush with watching your favourite bands and screaming your heart out, packed in with an excited crowd and dripping with sweat. The last gig I attended was Idlewild and the day after I could barely talk :) Mind you Coldplay should be a bit more restrained.
It is going to be a busy week next week, what with all the last minute stuff. I always seem to stumble across new stuff to do, such as remebering books which have to be returned, or some last minute payment for freshers week. Its at time like these when Mum gets most agitated and starts nagging everytime she sees me. I appreciate that she's trying to help, but does she have to be so annoying about it. Before my exams, it got so bad I was too angry to revise half the time. Ok so she probably helped in the long run.
Anyways, the joys of checkouts call so I must fly (well, pedal...)
