A Rut

Hello people sorry for the lack of an update recently, but really I was enjoying all the comments and stuff. I think 14 is deffo a record. Plus there hasn't been much of interest to say over the last few days and my brain has switched off. Well I say nothing of interest, theres always something interesting happening over here but some of the stuff I don't care to tell anyone about. It belongs in a secret diary, not on the web! Not saying I don't trust you lot, I do but theres some stuff I don't want to say and you probably don't want to read!

Anyhoo...

Song#1- Creedence Clearwater Revival- Bad Moon Rising
Song#2- The Cure- A forest
Song#3- Meatloaf- Bat Out of Hell
Song#4- 10CC- Rubber Bullets
Song#5- Muse- Map of the Problematique

Album- Suede- Greatest Hits

Lyric #1- I love to hear those convicts squeal, Its a shame these slugs ain't real
Lyric #2- People in love get everything wrong

So yeah the last week or so has been spent in a bit of a personal rut. I think my body clock has gone completely haywire of late. I feel completely knackered for most of the day, and then don't perk up until about 6. As a result I can't think properly during work hours. After about 9 or 10 however, I start to feel utterly hyper and can't sleep until about 4am. Not good. Seeing as most days I don't have a reason to get out of bed before Midday, I've wasted a lot of time recently.

Life has been carrying on as normal. Got disgustingly drunk on Saturday at the indie club and made a complete fool of myself. Was nearly started on twice because I went around slagging Man Utd off (grrr!) and Javens kept having to tell me to shut up.

A computer ate my research on soft river management schemes on Monday. I wasn't pleased.

The family have decided they are coming to stay at the beginning of December for the weekend before the 80th birthday of one of my Grandma and Grandad's old friends, 'Auntie' Betty. Should be nice to see her again, she's one of the few people of my Grandparents generation who is still alive. It does mean that house is going to have to be given a cleaning the likes of which it has clearly never seen. If anyone has Kim and Aggies number please pass it on.

Though they will be staying in the Hilton in Manchester, which incidently was only finished this year and is huge! Wanted a pic but blogger is having none of it. >:(

Might be able to nosey into the Coronation street filming from there. :D

Am really excited about tonight because there is going to be an all night rock gig taking place in the old Boddingtons Brewery. The Subways are headlining. Its gonna be a big night.

Speaking of gigs and seeing as how there has been a load of love for the Feeling recently, I am going to get a ticket for their tour in February if they aren't sold out. *fingers crossed*

Was just looking back through my old blog files recently and realised I have been single for almost a year. Not sure how I feel about this, but it certainly interests me, can't believe its been that long. I'm definitely a happier person now than then (despite the whinges).

Think thats it. Yep. Peace. :P

Ok I think I've amused myself quite enough. I bet those characters don't show up on other computers anyways but hey I can read them. Arabic, Russian and Hebrew incedently.

Heres one for you: found out a fantastic place to hear some old tunes that you don't normally hear. Its called McDonalds. During the course of a BigMac, they played Manic- If you tolerate this, Space- Female of the Species and Divine Comedy- Something for the Weekend. I kid you not.

Reading week passed by without much reading, although the assignments took up some time. It was great to be back for a few days as always.

Another abject display from NUFC yesterday, I was so angry after that I stormed off for a walk down Wilmslow Road and ended up in Didsbury! I just can't understand how we can do so well midweek and beat Palermo (top of the Italian league) and then do so badly against Sheffield Utd who are bottom of the league.

University have charged me twice for tuition fees i just found out. Well its my fault really because I regestered financially with them and also applied for the direct grant from the council to the Uni. Basically I'm 400 quid down, so that'll have to be sorted. I hate dealing with finances, it gets hard to keep track of everything sometimes.

Need to ring Mum soon and find out how to cook courgette bake. The parents sent me home with some gammon on Wednesday (woohoo!) but gammon just ain't the same without the courgettes. And an egg. mmmmm. I should really get a recipie book together. It sure beats beans on toast.

All thats all from me. उदद्वबा सब तदनाऍ
