Exams, drinking and life

Hello all. I'm back. I realise that once again this update is way overdue and also that I'm tired and a little drunk, as well as feeling a tad cynical about stuff, oh yeah and its about 3am, but hey, I feel like getting some thoughts across so nows as good a time as any.

So, the last month or so. Well, basically its been a bit of revision, a weekend of Cramlington and a lot of procrastination while thinking about doing revision. The exams have all finished now, I had my last one this morning but I'm not really sure how it went. (oooo theres a moth just landed next to my hand :D ) Put it this way I definitely didn't put enough work in for this lot and I'm not relishing and results landing on my doorstep. Still if the worst comes to worst, I can always resit. Thats it now anyways, finito! End of year. Can't quite believe I'm not a fresher anymore. The year went by so quickly its unreal. I remember the first day I arrived, a nervous wreck being dropped off. Still am to an extent. (the moth just flew onto my chin haha) Will be saying goodbye to my room in less than a week.

Anyways, shouldn't be getting all misty eyed. Ok maybe just a little bit. :(

Ok done. To celebrate the end of the exam period I've spent most of today drinking. Seeing as how it was so sunny earlier me and some coursemates headed to Orange Grove for the beer garden. Twas a laugh, but I could see everyone getting prgessively more toasted byt the sun as the afternoon wore on. Then I looked at my own shoulders and they were RED! When I took my vest off later I looked like a sunderland supporter- red and white!

Went to OPUS tonight with the lads from my course. Didn't really have the best time, the lads are quite loud and I tend to stay at the back of a group and not say much. Once they had all split up and found random people to talk to I was quite bored. This happens a fair bit on nights out. I wish I was more confident sometimes to go up and meet new people, but it just isn't there. Thats not to say I haven't had some great nights out over the last month where I've woken up with a grin on my face despite the hangover. I should really snap out of this and smile. Ben was really nice to me tonight, guess thats something.

I really fancy a kebab. I'll regret it in the morning though.

I started this post with a Deasy style best of list thingy, but gave up cos I'm not sober.

The rest of this week should be amazing. Theres the final hurrah with my coursemates tomorrow at 42nd Street, then Fallowfest on Friday- wahey! England play on Saturday, then Mum and Dad pick me up on Sunday sometime. And its bye bye Manchester. I will miss this place a bit, though I'll be back soon enough. It really has become a home from home. Will miss the lads a bit, though I don't think they care either way, otherwise they might have offered a place to live with them next year (bastards!). Hopefully I'll see Dom over the summer, he just lives in Gosforth.

Thats it for this chapter. I'm sure I've missed something but I just can't put my finger on it. It'll be in the next one no doubt.
